CVI accommodations are different depending on the individual characteristics better described by the CVI range of every student with CVI, their individual preferences, their daily routines and the needs of their school and family.
CVI accommodations are meant to facilitate vision throughout the day, so the more we use them and the more the child can see, the better they will learn from the world, thus making us reflect that this accommodations will not only be limited to how we present information on their AAC systems.
Two cases will be presented to highlight how different the accommodations are related to their score on the CVI range and as we show their progress, it will also be clear how they change or fade until in some cases, minimal accommodations are then needed.
