Students in Action

In addition to the regular lessons we have an annual tradition. Our students donate presents to the Toys for Tots program.

In order to make money to buy the presents they have a bake sale during recess.

Drew encourages everyone to buy a treat.

Raul keeps track of the money.

They take the money they made shopping. This year they took BART (public transportation) to the mall. The students shopped, trying to figure out the best buy and the most fun toy.

Students lined up to get onto the train.

Will shows Ms Lindsay how much he loves riding BART.

Abigail chats with Santa Claus.

Jack says, “Lets look for this.”

Cannon thinks this fire truck is PERFECT!

Alex puts his purchase on the counter for checkout.

Next the fire fighters come to the school to pick up all of the toys. It is so great to see them and the fire truck.

Nicole gives her present to Fireman Drew.

Joey and Will share their toys.

Aidan and Ms Joy ring the bell – it is LOUD!

Collin is ready to drive the fire truck.

We hope you all enjoy a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends.

Happy New Year!
